I’m dying to bring out my fall layers and tall boots, but it’s just been too warm. So this weekend, I opted for a dressed up jeans look for dinner and drinks with friends. I love the lace sleeves and flattering peplum silhouette of this blouse, and since it’s black, it goes with everything. Looking at my recent posts, I realized I’ve been wearing a lot of skirts and dresses. I think part of it is trying to take advantage of what’s left of bare legs weather, but I also have a harder time finding pants that fit and make me feel good. When it comes to jeans, I’ve learned that a skinny pair with a good amount of stretch generally works for me. It helps to try on a bunch of pairs in different styles and be open-minded about size. Your size may vary depending on the cut and designer, so my advice is to focus on fit instead.
Also, I have to take a moment to acknowledge these gorgeous shoes. They’re from Lauren Conrad’s Kohl’s collection so they’re affordable, but they look and feel so luxurious. The color and the bows are both on-trend for fall too, so expect to see them again. Hope your week is off to a great start!
