Last week, I got an email from Who What Wear and Gap about a special event they were having in select stores. The two were collaborating on some Fall styles, and giving a first look at Gap’s new arrivals. My neighborhood Gap store was one of the locations hosting a Styld.by party last night, so I decided to stop by. There were some hors d’oeuvres and major sales. Plus a number of outfits styled by Who What Wear:
Of the clothes on the mannequins, I especially loved the twill pants, the sweaters, and the parkas. I also saw a lot of pattern throughout the store, from houndstooth, to camo, to polka dot…and lots of stripes.
Somehow, I only ended up walking out of there with a few things…a couple of pairs of patterned tights, and a beautiful cobalt shirt dress with black polka dots. When I tried it on, it honestly looked like a nightgown. But, I had brought a belt into the dressing room with me, and as soon as I cinched the waist, the dress looked fantastic. Hoping to show you how I style it soon!

what a cool event to be invited too! Gap definitely has some items I am loving as a late, now I just need to go over to their store and try stuff on!
