Living in the city, I walk or bike just about everywhere (have you tried biking in heels? It’s interesting…). While heels are adorable and office appropriate, the DC sidewalks are not so kind to them or your feet. I’m happy to get where I’m going without getting a heel stuck in a subway grate! Not to mention that, at 5’8, I already tower over most of my friends, so flats are the comfy – and cute – way to go!
