Favorite Purchases of 2020

As we round out the year, I thought I would share my favorite purchases of 2020. This year was challenging, and required all of us to adjust to a new normal. I’m so grateful that Rob and I are both healthy with jobs we love. I know that’s not the case for everyone, so if spending money isn’t something you can do right now, feel free to skip this post or bookmark it for later. That said, these are all things that improved my life in some small way this year. Every small joy makes a difference!

  1. Keurig Coffee Maker: When we found out that working from home wouldn’t be a short term thing, I upgraded our coffee maker. I’m an iced coffee all year-round girl, but I also like a good latte. I love that this machine comes with a frother attached, but doesn’t take up a ridiculous amount of counter space.
  2. Flour Shop Kitchen Set: These kitchen towels and oven mitt bring such joy to my kitchen. I love the colors and the reminder not to take things too seriously.
  3. Air Pods Pro: I tried a couple of knockoffs before I finally gave in to the Air Pods hype. These are more comfortable than other ear buds, and I like they connect easily to my phone and laptop.
  4. Kate Spade Cardholder: Since I wasn’t going many places this year, I realized that I didn’t need my giant wallet anymore. This cardholder has enough space for the essentials, but it’s small enough to stick in your pocket on your way out the door.
  5. Amazon Necklace: This $13 necklace has been on repeat all year. It makes the perfect addition to any outfit, and it looks more expensive than it is.
  6. Calvin Klein bra: I don’t know about you, but 2020 was the year of the wireless bra for me. This one is my favorite. It’s seamless under clothes and super comfortable, but still has support.
  7. Lake Pajamas: I’ve heard so much about these from other influencers, so I decided to ask for them for Hanukkah. Then they had a great Black Friday sale, so I ordered myself another pair. Let me tell you, they live up to the hype!
  8. Sydne Summer masks and mask chains: These are the masks I’ve been wearing the most. They come in so many colors, they’re breathable, and adjustable. Adding a mask chain is great for when you’re going out to a meal or a distanced hang out. You don’t have to worry about putting your mask down somewhere unsanitary or losing it in your purse. Plus, Sydne donates 10% of proceeds to Feeding America.
  9. Lou & Grey sweatsuit: I have this top and the matching bottom in several colors. They are SO soft and cozy…what could be better?
  10. Aerie leggings: Another one of my comfy wardrobe staples. These are flattering and comfortable with a high waist.
  11. Natori robe: I’ve never really been a robe person, but I decided I wanted one this year. This one is warm without being too heavy, and I love the plush lining.
  12. Wit & Wisdom jeans: Pretty much every outfit you’ve seen me in since March that included jeans was a Wit & Wisdom pair. They’re stretchy and curve-hugging, and affordable too.
