A few weeks ago, I saw someone walking home from the subway in a long sleeve maxi dress and she looked so chic. Ever since, I’ve been on the hunt for a similar dress, but I wasn’t having any luck. Finally, I found this pretty floral midi dress at Old Navy. The sleeves are three-quarter, and it’s more of a boho vibe than I was going for, but paired with a leather jacket and booties, it totally works. The nice thing about the sleeve and dress length is that it’s totally appropriate for work, and because this dress is cinched at the waist, it’s flattering to my figure.
On a more personal note, I’ve been struggling a bit this week. Bones hasn’t been feeling 100%, and since I’m a light sleeper, I’m the one he wakes up when he needs to go out in the middle of the night. Sometimes, I feel like I need a day to do nothing but sleep, but of course that will never happen. Such is the life of a (dog) mom!
Speaking of, as I mentioned in Monday’s post, we’re dressing up for the big dog Halloween parade this weekend! I love Halloween, and I’m a little sad that we’ll be out of town the weekend before, so even seeing the dogs dressed up will be lots of fun! Stayed tuned for ‘grams!
