Friday Favorites: Patterned Shifts

The shift dress is a classic silhouette that makes for a simple, chic outfit. If you’re at all curvy, shifts can be a bit of a challenge, but the key is to find one that skims your curves, without hugging them. Patterns are also a flattering and fun twist, as long as they’re properly placed (no giant blooms or thicker stripes at your widest point). Although it won’t work with all patterns, you can also try adding a skinny belt to create more definition. Like anything else, just make sure you find a dress that makes you feel beautiful!

    • I’ve never owned a Lily dress (gasp!), but I love their colorful patterns.
