Sweaters are such a staple for fall and winter, and while I love a classic chunky knit, it’s also fun to try trendier styles. I don’t know why the lace up sweater wasn’t a thing until recently. It makes such a statement without taking away from the warmth factor. I found this one on my last look around the J.Crew/Madewell sample sale last week, and I’m so glad I grabbed it!
This is what I wore for an afternoon of errands on Saturday. I pictured this sweater with boyfriend jeans, and booties were the perfect addition. This outfit is all neutrals, but it’s not boring, and it’s comfortable, but still flattering…the best kind of balance. Also, the foliage and flower beds in this little courtyard were the perfect back drop! I’m super sad that fall is coming to a close and the branches will be bare before long. Trying to enjoy it as much as possible while I can!
