Midi Remix

The last time I wore this midi skirt was with a long sleeve crop top, tights and booties. I remember how quickly we snapped those photos, because I couldn’t bear to be without my coat for too long. Now, I’m mixing up the same skirt for summer, with a short-sleeve eyelet button down and sandals. Although jewel tones aren’t typically seen as summer colors, the style of the top + neutral accessories give it a fun, laid-back vibe.

As you may have noticed in my midi skirt roundup last week, the tendency is to wear a crop top or tuck in a shirt, using the waistband of the skirt for definition. Since this blouse has its own waist-defining feature (and a pretty scalloped edge), I went untucked. Just another option for styling your midis for summer!
