Pencil Skirt

How to style a cape coat

As a pear-shaped lady, the pencil skirt is not usually a style I gravitate towards. They tend to be rather form-fitting in a way that makes me feel self-conscious about my curves, so an A-line that emphasizes my waist is my go-to. But, for some reason, I decided to give this leopard print skirt a chance, and I’m so glad I did! It’s super soft, comfortable, and figure-flattering because it’s not too tight. Pairing a pencil skirt with an oversized sweater is also a great way to balance it out and still camouflage a little.

Sweater and skirt

I really love this outfit, the colors and patterns go so well together and last year’s cape coat is the perfect topper. The combination of comfortable and chic is exactly what you need for a great office look, and it would totally work for Thanksgiving too!
