Ruffled Racerback

Tank and Shorts

If I’m being real, I almost didn’t post these photos. They’re not my most flattering, this outfit is not particularly creative or exciting, and the bag’s not designer…it’s DIY. But, this is what I really wore on a hot day over the long weekend when we were trekking all over the Upper East Side with the dog.  These shorts are old and are a little big, but I just love the vibrant color. I’m also a fan of tank tops that have a little something extra, like a fun neckline. I can’t remember where I got this one (it’s even older than the shorts), but it definitely gives my everyday outfits a little bit of a boost. Also, boat shoes…don’t know what I would do without them! Whether you consider yourself “preppy” or not, Sperry’s are a worthwhile investment.

    • Thanks, Jamie! It was a lot of fun to make! And yes, I am in Ruppert Park. Are you a fellow Upper East Sider?
