No matter how much your taste may change over the years, at any given point, you will always have a signature style, a go-to “uniform” that reflects your personality and lifestyle. For me, my signature is a combination of comfortable and chic, usually in black and white, with a pop of color.
Today’s pop of color is c/o Hallmark Signature, and it’s part of a beautiful line of unique handmade cards, perfect for any occasion. Fun fact about me is that I love cards, and I almost always give mushy ones with long, heartfelt messages. Even though I spend a lot of time in the digital world, I don’t think I will ever stop giving cards. There’s just something about finding the right one and putting words to paper. Plus, the Signature Collection is super stylish and chic. You might have a hard time giving them and not keeping them for yourself!
A couple of notes about this outfit. I don’t like to pay full price if I can avoid it, especially at stores that have a lot of sales. But, there are two ways to get around it if you’re afraid to wait. One: if you shop at a certain store (or family of stores) a lot, sign up for their mailing list and consider getting a store credit card. You’ll get extra coupons (like the one that enabled me to purchase this dress) and sometimes early access to sales. Two: sign up for Ebates, and install their extension in your browser. For some reason, I was hesitant to embrace Ebates, but I’m so glad that I did. When I spotted this backpack on someone in a hair salon a few weeks ago, I had to ask her where it was from. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I got crazy lucky because the next day was 16% cash back at Nordstrom, so I was able to justify the purchase.
Hat: J.Crew Factory, Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Earrings: old (similar), Dress: LOFT, Bracelet: c/o Capwell & Co (also love this one), Shoes: MIA (similar), Backpack: Topshop via Nordstrom
Disclosure: Hallmark sent me several cards from their Signature Collection, but all opinions are my own.
