If you couldn’t tell from recent Friday Favorites round-ups (and my own outfit posts), I’m really loving white! There are so many pretty, lightweight white pieces that have an almost ethereal quality to them. White is everywhere, and you can literally wear it from head to toe. A few recommendations before you shop: look for textures like eyelet, lace and embroidery that add contrast and visual interest. For skirts, opt for thicker fabrics or pleats to avoid transparency issues. For that same reason, remember to always wear nude undergarments. They camouflage best under white. Although white and black always look good together, I recommend pairing your white pieces with light wash denim for easy casual looks. Oh, and just to be safe, you might want to carry around a Tide pen!
