In case you couldn’t tell, gingham is one of my favorite patterns for spring and summer (proof here and here), and as much as I love a classic silhouette in traditional blue and white, who could resist a black and white wrap blouse with statement sleeves? This blouse is under $60 with a double ruffle on the sleeve, and a flattering tie at the waist. (Full disclosure that it doesn’t come in petite, so I had to pin mine to keep the wrap in place).
I paired my gingham top with a pair of jeans in the palest of pinks and added my go-to mules to make it an office-friendly outfit. I’m a little rumpled because this is at the end of a full work day (#reallife), but I think I still look pretty good. Significant credit goes to my second day curl savior and a bold lip, but the statement sleeves definitely don’t hurt!
