Striped Midi Dress

Last weekend, I went out to brunch with a few ladies from my office. It was so great to spend time with them outside of work, and I hadn’t been to brunch in far too long. We went to Street Taco, a fun Mexican spot in Murray Hill with a great menu. I wore a striped midi dress layered over a tissue turtleneck. This dress is from an old Who What Wear x Target collection, and I just love how it fits. Although it’s not my usual A-line silhouette, the sash at the waist is super flattering, and the slits on the side make it just the right amount of sexy. I kept most of my outfit and accessories neutral, but added a pop of color with a pair of burgundy booties and a bold lip.

This weekend will be pretty low-key. We have plans with friends Saturday night, but otherwise nothing big. I’m hoping that means I’ll have time to relax with a good book! What are you up to this weekend?
