This striped peplum top was another one of my J.Crew Sample Sale finds! I brought it to Dallas over the weekend in the hopes that it would be warmer there, but it was actually pretty chilly. Weather aside, it was a fun trip with lots of good food and so nice to spend time with good friends.
The peplum silhouette is great for pear-shapes if it hits at the right point on your waist like this one. I also love how the stripes curve up on the peplum, drawing the eye up, and I’ll probably never say no to a ruffled sleeve. It’s interesting to see how my tastes change as I get older. Lately, I’ve been gravitating more to classic pieces in neutrals, but I still love incorporating a pop of color.
