Suede Dress

I can’t resist a good sale, so when Nordstrom Rack had their Clear the Rack event a few weeks ago, I made sure to check it out. This suede dress was majorly marked down, and although I was a little skeptical, I gave it a try. I actually really love the softness of the suede, and the detailing on the waist (combined with an A-line silhouette) is so flattering for my shape.

I’ve noticed that there haven’t been so many work outfits on my favorite blogs lately. I think it might be because a lot of style bloggers work for themselves or in more casual environments, so I’m going to try to share more of my office style. Some days I wake up and all I want is to do is throw on a pair of jeans (or sweatpants!), and I know I’m not the only one. When I’m uninspired, I try to get creative. I love layering short sleeve and sleeveless shirts and dresses over long sleeve tees or button-downs. It makes them SO much more versatile, and it’s like having a new outfit.

P.S. I’m getting my hair cut and colored tomorrow and I can’t wait f0r the refresh! As much as I love it long, it’s kind of a mess at the moment…
