For the past month or so, I’ve had to be very thoughtful about my outfits so you wouldn’t see my bump. But, no more hiding now that it’s out in the open! I ordered this wrap skirt from Kathleen Barnes‘ Amazon the Drop collection in the fall. I’m usually a leopard girl when it comes to animal print, but I love this pattern in black and white. Wrap skirts are a gift to curvy women (and pregnant women!). They’re basically adjustable, but still super flattering. Pro tip: Drop Collections are only available for a limited time, but if they don’t sell out/when people start to make returns, you can find things here.
This weekend we did a lot of baby stuff. We went to test out some strollers and check out car seats. There are so many choices, but the salesperson was super helpful, and it was good to see them (and drive them) in person. On Sunday, we did a virtual workshop with a dog trainer who specializes in preparing your dog for a baby. Bones is used to having all of our attention, and we need him to be a little less needy before his brother is born. We got some tips on how to introduce the two of them, which will be quite the moment! Looking forward to a new era for our country this week and hoping everyone stays safe.
