On Saturday, it finally cooled off and I decided it was blazer weather! I have phases with blazers where sometimes I’m really into them, and sometimes I don’t want to wear them at all. Part of my issue is that they can be fairly constricting, but this one is a more flexible jersey-like material, and on-trend for fall in plaid. I decided to stick with neutrals and opted for a black cami and jeans to wear to brunch with my summer camp bestie Aliza, who was in town from DC. We met more than 20 years ago, and she’s just one of those people who knows me so well. No matter how far apart we’ve lived or how long we’ve gone without seeing each other, I still think our friendship gets stronger as the years go by.
We had brunch at Jacob’s Pickle and it was so good! I’m always torn between savory and sweet, but I got the biscuit French Toast, and it was amazing! Speaking of food, I’m on Long Island for a few days celebrating the Jewish New Year with my family. The food we have for this holiday is some of my favorite, so I am definitely psyched!
