Burgundy + Navy

I took a few days off from blogging last week to spend time with my family and celebrate Thanksgiving. My husband, the pup and I headed out to my mom’s place on Long Island to enjoy suburban life for a few days. Bones got to run around a fenced-in backyard with another dog, and he was in Heaven! (He also discovered the electric fireplace…too cute!) There was so much good food, and I’m a firm believer in the whole calories don’t count on holidays thing. Although I spent a lot of time in my PJs, I always love getting a little dressed up for the Thanksgiving meal. Rich colors like burgundy and navy are my favorites for crisp fall days, so this cozy sweater and skirt combo was a no-brainer.
