Casual Sequins

I know, I know…”casual” and “sequins” don’t really go together, but the thing is, they can. I wanted to show you that you can wear a sequined skirt without looking like you’re going to a holiday party. You can even wear one with flats!

I put this outfit together for a busy Saturday night when we had dinner plans with another couple, and then a friend’s birthday party at The Ace Hotel. My goal was to looked dressed up without overdoing it. So, I paired my sequin mini with a lightweight button down and a statement necklace. The addition of leopard print flats made the outfit more interesting and counteracted the sparkly fanciness just enough. I also have to give props to Jergens BB Body Cream for making my legs look so fab! (This is not a sponsored post, I just love the stuff!)
