To me, spring is all about color. I like to integrate saturated hues into every part of my life, switching out neutrals in my wardrobe, spending as much time under bright blue skies as I can, admiring the rainbow of gorgeous blooms, and of course, sipping a colorful cocktail on a patio or rooftop. So, when TheBar.com challenged me to create a cocktail that would help me prepare for spring, color was the first thing that came to mind.
The featured liquor was Peligroso® Silver Tequila, and I wanted to make something that would be tasty, but not terribly unhealthy. I’m a big fan of fruity frozen margaritas, so I channeled some of my favorite flavors with a peach/mango juice blend. A splash of Sprite and a few frozen strawberries was all it needed to come together.

This tequila was great because it blended really well with the fruit flavors without getting lost. Pro Tip: I like to add frozen fruit to my drinks in lieu of ice. It keeps your drink cold without watering it down, and eating the fruit at the end is the best part!
How are you toasting to spring?
Disclaimer: I was sent a complimentary bottle of Peligroso® Silver Tequila by TheBar.com, but all opinions are my own.
Looks so yummy!
