As you can probably tell, I’m in a major neutral outfit phase. To be quite honest, I’m in a bit of a weird place with my style. There are a lot of days when I don’t leave the apartment, except to drop off and pick up Seth and walk Bones. So, an easy outfit with sneakers is what you can often find me wearing. Layering with the turtleneck and switching out regular leggings for faux leather ones makes me feel a little more put together. I’m also a big fan of the New Balance 327s, and I have them in three colorways! I’m so glad “cool” sneakers are in right now.
We’ve had a pretty mild winter so far (my best friends in Dallas were just iced in for five days!), but it has still been plenty cold…which is one of many reasons why I am very excited to be traveling to Mexico a week from today! We haven’t been on a beach vacation since we went to Hawaii in January 2020, which was obviously pre-Seth. Our last family trip was to Maine over the summer, but Rob had to work a lot of the time. We’re hoping that being away over a holiday weekend will be better, but please send positive vibes!
Regardless of how it goes, I can’t wait to be on the beach. I know it will be different with a toddler, but having my toes in the sand with waves crashing in the background is my happy place. I’ll be sharing snapshots of our trip on Instagram, so make sure you’re following me there!
