My husband and I spent Thanksgiving at my mom’s house on Long Island. It was great to be in the quiet suburbs with more space and less people. The pup had a great time running around, and we all had a wonderful few days of family and food. This is what I wore for Thanksgiving dinner, rich fall colors with just a little bit of layering. It was kind of chilly, but with all of the eating I wasn’t sure that I wanted to wear tights. Fortunately, this sheer pair is actually super soft and comfortable. They’re called Silk Reflections, and they are literally silky smooth. Highly recommend them!
Shortly after we got back to the city and unpacked from Thanksgiving, we were packing again for a little tropical getaway! I booked us a trip to Mexico a few months ago when I found a great deal on CheapCarribean.com, and I can’t wait to finally be on the beach! I put together a couple of holiday gift guides that will go live later this week so you can keep shopping while I’m away, but aside from the occasional Instagram, I’ll be enjoying my R&R sans technology.
