Fall Flare Dress

Happy Halloween! The weather was weird this weekend in NYC…we went out for Halloween on Friday (see our awesome 80s costumes on Insta!) and it was super chilly. Yesterday, it got into the 70s and felt more like summer than fall. So, what do you wear on those in between days? I love a flattering flare dress like this one from LOFT (apparently a lot of other people do too, because it’s almost sold out online). The material is a little heavier and has some texture, but with a light jacket, it’s not too much for an unseasonably warm day. And, when it finally cools down for real, this dress will be great with a cardigan and tights.

I can’t believe it’s almost November! October was a whirlwind, with a lot of Jewish holidays and time with family, plus our getaway to Mystic. This month, we’re staying in the city most weekends, including finally hosting a housewarming this Saturday. We still need to get a few things up on the walls, but I think our apartment has come together pretty well so far. I just need to decide what to wear (and what to make) for the party!
