I absolutely adore shoes! I frequently plan outfits around a pair of boots or heels. As a Kindergarten teacher I’m on my feet all day long so heels rarely make sense and I still want to look stylish at work (none of those “teacher” clothes in my closet)! So when I came across these black suede flats with that perfect plaid bow at Nordstrom Rack I had to have them. They’re comfy, they look great and they’re incredibly versatile!

Flats allow me to walk as fast as possible. They also fit my very practical personality, and at the end of the day, my feet don’t hurt. For someone who is 5’2, you really have to own who you are, and flats don’t give you the chance to hide from anything! These red boots are one of my favourite pairs. I got them on sale from Aldo, thanks to my sister who convinced me that they were a good idea. Suede isn’t always practical in the rainy weather we get here, but so far so good!
