Green is one of those colors that I don’t wear a lot, but I’ll make an exception for this floral midi skirt! I found it on sale at Banana Republic last year, and I’ve worn it more than I expected. The print is so bold and colorful, that I thought pairing it with a cropped black sweater would be perfect for these “in between” days we’ve been having in NYC. Spring is trying desperately to reach us, but it’s not sticking around. I like to slowly incorporate more color into my wardrobe as I transition from one season to another. My spring and summer wardrobes are definitely more vibrant, but I can never give up my neutrals entirely. I’m curious…do you wear more color when the weather’s warmer? I also love how this skirt moves, even in the slightest breeze. It’s pretty great for twirling too! Plus, skinny pleats in this silhouette have an elongating effect, which is always helpful for my petite frame.
I’m so excited that tomorrow’s Friday! Unlike last weekend when we had tons of plans, we have very little on the calendar, and I couldn’t be happier. March looks like it’s going to be pretty busy, so kicking off the new month with time to relax and get things done around the apartment will be great!
