Friday Favorites: Plaid

Plaid

It used to be that plaid was relegated to guys and outdoorsy types. But, we don’t have to borrow from our BFs anymore! Plaid, especially in flannel form, has risen rapidly in popularity in the pattern ranks. Whether you go for small checks or more traditional criss-crossed tartan, plaid can definitely be pretty! Pair a plaid button down with a pair of jeans and add a cardigan or vest. For a more subtle touch, go for a scarf. Either way, plaid makes such a statement that it’s an easy outfit.

  4. I can’t remember the last time I wore plaid. Perhaps it’s time to invest in a subtle scarf or some flats?
