When I wore this outfit to the office the other day, my friend Mackenzie told me that she has the same cardigan and she calls it her “grandpa sweater.” It’s a totally fitting name for something that’s a little more functional than fashionable, and perfect for staying warm on cold days.
This particular day was especially chilly, but I wanted a break from pants. So, I wore a longer skirt with sweater tights, and topped off a button down with the grandpa sweater and a bit of faux fur around my neck. Although I managed for a few minutes without my coat, there was no way I was going without gloves. Fortunately, this velvet pair is cozy and cute. I will definitely be wearing this combo again, especially if we’re in for a long winter!
