If there’s one thing that’s true about my wardrobe, it’s definitely a mix of high and low items. This is especially reflected in this post, but not just in the outfit. This is the first outfit post that was shot with my new big girl DSLR!!! My friends/photogs and I are still learning, so the photos will definitely improve over time, but I can already see a difference. I’m so excited to take La Petite Pear to the next level, and this new camera (a definite “high” item) is only the first step!
The lovely eyelet skirt that I’m wearing is the low item in this post. It’s from J.Crew, but I got it on Poshmark for $20! If you haven’t heard of Poshmark, it’s a fabulous app where you can buy and sell clothes. Some are new, and some are used, but all are deeply discounted. There are tons of designer items and pieces from well-known stores and brands. (I regularly peruse the Kate Spade selections!) You can search by brand, size, or item type, and it saves the things you favorite. An added bonus: the people at Poshmark are super friendly fashion lovers who really care about their community. I had the pleasure of meeting some of their team when they came to New York a couple of months ago.
