Our lease is up at the end of the summer, and even though we haven’t even started the official process of looking, I’m already browsing for things for our new place. When we moved into our current apartment more than three years ago, we weren’t even engaged, and we were still in the “let’s compile all of our stuff” phase of decorating. Well, now I’m over that phase, and more than ready to make the next place truly our own. The decor will be intentional and creative, and in addition to picking up a few new things, I’m excited to finally get to use at least some of our wedding presents, which have been sitting in my mom’s basement waiting for us to have space for them.

I’m not sure how yet, but I want to incorporate pattern into our new place. Since chevron is a fairly gender neutral pattern, it has a pretty good shot of making it in. Plus, I just can’t resist the zigs and zags!
