You already know that I don’t believe in the “no white after Labor Day” rule, so when I saw someone wearing an outfit like this a few weeks ago, I knew I wanted to recreate it. I think a lot of people wonder how to style neutrals without being too boring. My approach is to add a pop of color or pattern and choose textured pieces. Jenny Lyons and her disciples consider leopard print a neutral, but this calf hair belt definitely makes a statement. (It’s reversible too!) I love it with the white midi skirt, a J.Crew sample sale find from a few years ago.
