Another outfit post, another time I layered a cropped top over long sleeves because I’m totally bored with my winter wardrobe! For this office-appropriate outfit, I wore a lace top over a simple white button down, and paired them with a dark green midi skirt. Layering lace is so fun because it has such a beautiful texture, even in a neutral. This skirt is a lot of fabric, and it’s probably not my most flattering, but it’s so comfortable and I just love the color.
This weekend was a whirlwind! We had dinner plans with some of my husband’s work friends on Friday night. On Saturday night, we went out with my brother-in-law and some of his frat brothers. On our way, we got stuck in an elevator for close to 45 minutes…unfortunately, not the first time this has happened to me, but I would be totally happy if it were the last! Yesterday, my friend Mackenzie and I spent the morning at Dessert Goals, a pop-up dessert fest with tons of Instagram-worthy sweets and cute backdrops. Now, it’s time for another week, and it’s going to be a busy one. I’ve been spending much of my time at work preparing for a major fundraising/social media day, which is taking place on Thursday. I can’t wait to see how everything comes together!
