Spring is slowly showing up for us in New York, and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m more than ready to ditch my heavy coats and switch to light layers like denim and leather jackets. Last Saturday was definitely leather jacket weather, and we had just enough time to snap some pictures of this look before meeting our best friends for dinner. I don’t wear a lot of high end designers, but this is actually the second Elizabeth & James top I’ve posted in the past couple of weeks! Just like the other one, this was a sample sale find, and I love how it fits and flatters my shape. I love dressing up jeans with a pretty blouse and fun shoes, and I definitely don’t think you need to wear heels to elevate your look. These leopard print flats are the perfect pop of pattern, and they’re super comfortable too.
This weekend was crazy productive. I did laundry, cleaned the apartment, and went through all of my beauty and skincare products samples to reduce reorganize. That last part was partly motivated by the fact that I went a little crazy using my Sephora and Ulta discounts (anyone else?!), but it still felt good. We took Bones to try out a new daycare place, and while he was there, we had our couch cleaned. I also met up with my bestie to shop the LOFT sale and pick out outfits for her birthday extravaganza next weekend! It’s going to be so fun to have so many of our favorite people in one place, and I can’t wait to celebrate! Hope your week is off to a good start!
