In a surprise to no one, I love coordinating my outfits with Seth’s. I tried to get Rob on board with doing matching holiday pajamas, but he wasn’t interested (also not a surprise). So, it’s just mom & mini, which is fine by me! There are so many options for matching holiday pajamas, and I really appreciate that a number of retailers have started including Hanukkah in their holiday selection. There are quite a few that define family to include furbabies too, but I decided to spare Bones. Our PJs are from Old Navy (like mine last year), and I linked to a bunch of other options below.
I really wanted to snap these photos over the weekend, so we did them when Rob had a break from work. I didn’t have a chance to shower or put on any makeup. But, what I was most focused on was Seth being comfortable and happy. I wanted to capture the moment for us, and not just for the Internet. Being a mom is teaching me a lot of things, but one of the most important lessons is to embrace things as they are. Sometimes the candid, unedited moments are the most precious.
