Denim shorts are a summer closet staple, but shorts can be scary if you’ve got curves. Like most things, I think the key is to be patient enough to find the perfect pair. You want the ones that will give you instant confidence when you put them on. For me, my favorite denim shorts are the Jimmy Jimmy by Paige. Regular price, they’re a little more expensive than I would normally spend. I actually found this pair at the Bloomingdales Outlet, but I’ve been searching frantically for another pair because these are happily too big. Even too big though, they’re still super flattering, and that tells you that they’re worth spending a little more. For some serious summer vibes, I added a white eyelet top and a fun pair of flats.
As I mentioned in Monday’s post, I went to Long Island for some quality time with my mom last weekend. We had very little on our agenda, and that was just fine with me. We ended up going to Target, which my mom thought was so funny, but when you live in the city, suburban Targets are like Heaven! This weekend will be a great one too. Tomorrow I’m excited to check out The Rosé Mansion, and on Saturday, I’m headed to Pennsylvania for a friend’s bridal shower. What are you up to?
