- Peplum: I’ve kind of fought against the peplum trend because I wasn’t sure it would look good on me, but now that it looks like it’s around to stay, I’m ready to give it a try. I love this cobalt top from ASOS with the peter pan collar!
- Sparkle: I am literally obsessed with this Aqua Luxe jeans from Bloomingdale’s! I keep clicking over and admiring them. Unfortunately, they’re a little above my price range right now, so I will have to find some more affordable sparkle.
- Jacquard: This leopard jacquard skirt from Ann Taylor is amazing. I love the hints of blue and shine, and it’s the perfect length for work. They have another one with a smaller animal print that I’m crushing on too.
- Polka Dot tights: As you know, I love polka dots, and these Kate Spade tights would be an excellent addition to my collection. Patterned tights are such a great way to liven up a simple sheath dress or compliment a fun skirt.
- Blazer with contrast piping: I have been admiring this blazer in the window of the Gap near my office for quite a while. Not only does it come in this great gray and black combination, but also in black and white, and several bright pops of color.

I just bought a peplum skirt from Zara last week. I was skeptical too about how it would look and was pleasantly surprised. It hids a lot of problems areas for me 🙂
