The weather this weekend was supposed to be terrible…rain and snow, and just generally gross. But, somehow, Saturday turned out to be beautiful, and we were able to enjoy the sunshine on our friends’ new patio at their housewarming party. I also decided at the last minute to get a haircut and refresh my highlights. With so many weddings and celebrations in the next few months, it was definitely necessary. Speaking of, on Friday I head to Charleston for my best friend’s bachelorette party. We’ve been planning for so long and I can’t wait to enjoy great food, drinks and some Southern hospitality!
Until then, I’ll be figuring out ways to dress for the weird, in-between weather we’ve been having. For this casual weekend look, I opted for a springy plaid top and jeans, with a lightweight anorak on top. Since I promised myself I would wear more color, I picked up a few colorful necklaces at the BaubleBar Sample Sale last week. Just enough to make an outfit pop!
