On Black Friday, we went for a walk with the pup in a cute little downtown waterfront area near where my mom lives. Fall foliage was out in full force, and although it was a bit brisk, it was nice to be able to enjoy being outdoors without the constant drone of traffic like we have in the city. Another bonus of being in the suburbs? I went into the Gap and took advantage of their Black Friday deals, and barely waited a few minutes in line. Miraculous.
Now, onto this outfit. I know there is a great debate about whether leggings can (or should) be pants in real life. I’m all about wearing my leggings with a long tunic that covers my butt, and I also think it’s okay to wear a thicker, more pants-like pair with a sweater for lazy days. These have a faux leather stripe that takes them up a notch, and yet, they’re incredibly comfy…which should really be the theme the day after Thanksgiving.
