Who doesn’t love a good party skirt…and with silver jacquard polka dots? Perfection! When I saw this little number on the J.Crew Factory site, I immediately wanted to add it to my cart. But, I knew that I would have to get creative and find more casual ways to wear it, since I’m not exactly a party animal these days 🙂
My office dress code is fairly liberal, so I was able to dress down my fancy skirt by balancing it out with more casual pieces. I played off the dots with a subtly sparkly tee and added a little edge with a faux leather moto vest. The more versatile a piece is, the better the return on investment, even if you do find it on the sale rack.
It’s been warmer the past couple of days in NYC, so much of the snow from Jonas has already melted. Looking forward to a weekend of better weather and actually getting out of the apartment for more than dog walks!
