On Saturday, my husband and our guy friends went to the Bacon and Beer Festival at Citi Field. While they were indulging, my best friends and I went on an adventure of our own. Our first stop was at Gotham West Market for some breakfast, and then onto the Gilt City Warehouse Sale. It was in a different venue this year, and the space was so much better. Racks upon racks of great designer deals (also better than in previous years), and yet, never a long wait for the dressing room.
The three of us all found a few gems, and had so much fun playing dress up! My favorite was a gorgeous lace dress by Monique Lhuillier. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but for 75% off the original price, and with four weddings in the next year, I couldn’t resist. We stopped by Gotham West again on our way home to try Ample Hills Creamery‘s legendary ice cream, and OMG it was amazing! Definitely check it out if you’re a sweets lover like me.
Warehouse sales and sample sales can be super overwhelming. Always wear something that will be comfortable and easy to change in and out of throughout the day. Check out this post for more shopping tips. P.S. My pastel sweater is an extra 70% off right now (yes, really)!
