As you read this post, I am in Maine, on a weeklong beach vacation with my husband and our best friends! I’m SO excited for some much-needed R&R, great food and drinks, outlet shopping…and actually seeing my husband during waking hours! Speaking of adventures, my friends and I decided to have a picnic in Central Park over July 4th weekend. This is something that has been on my NYC bucket list for a long time, and I’m so glad it finally happened! I made this salad and this sparkly concoction. Both were fantastic! I also brought the pup along, and since he loves to run around in the park, my outfit needed to be comfortable and cool. Hello, sleeveless chambray shirt and lightweight shorts!
