There are some patterns and fabrics that are perfect for the holiday season! Sequins and sparkle are always encouraged, velvet and suede are totally on-trend, and I also love wearing plaid and lace. I wanted to get in the spirit for my office’s holiday party earlier this week, so I broke out my lace pants and paired them with a new plaid top. It was nearly 50 degrees that day, so I took one more opportunity to wear my backless loafers. Add pearls, and I was party ready, but still office-appropriate. I did forget to put on blush or bronzer, and man do I need a tropical vacation! Thankfully, we have it on our list to plan something this weekend, so let me know if you have any favorite spots for sun and sand!
This weekend, we’re having a little holiday party and I’m so excited to play hostess! I love getting people together for happy occasions, and it’s always fun to catch up with friends. We’re spending Christmas at my in-laws and celebrating in the traditional Jewish way…with Chinese food! Wishing everyone a very happy holiday!
