When I picked up these jeans and booties at Marshalls, I knew they would be perfect for Fall. A great pair of jeans will always be essential to the foundation of a wardrobe. They are one of the most versatile items of clothing, and a closet classic. I was drawn to the wash of this pair, and when I put them on, they fit like a glove. The booties were a last minute cart addition, edging out a glass beverage dispenser, but I totally stand by it. I know I’ll be wearing them a ton.
Yesterday, I talked about how much I love trying trends at Marshalls. It’s also a great place to go for homegoods, furniture, shoes and accessories you can actually afford. When Marshalls sent me $100 to spend, I set out to show just how far that money can go. So, when I stumbled upon a bright pink Kate Spade blazer for $50, I resisted. Although it was an amazing deal (and super cute), I’m glad I stuck to my plan. I got a faux leather pocket tee, chambray shirt, pair of jeans, and a pair of booties for less than $2 over my $100. At regular price, I would have spent double that total. Enough said!

LOVING this outfit. The boots are so unexpected, but they give this look a dressed-down-but-still-pulled-together feel. Also, I cannot BELIEVE you said no to a Kate Spade blazer in hot pink. Willpower, girl!

Thank you! One of my style goals for this year is to push myself outside of my comfort zone and think more creatively when I’m putting together outfits…hence the booties 🙂 Um yeah…the blazer was pretty, but I realized I would wear these two things more.
