Like much of the country, New York City has been frigid and windy the past few days. As a result, these may have been the fastest outfit photos ever…and I refused to take off my gloves!
My mom gave me this giant (faux) pearl necklace a while ago, and there have been quite a few times that I’ve put it on with an outfit, but ended up leaving it at home. This time, it totally worked, with a simple striped top and jeans. Please ignore the frizz monster that is my hair…and feel free to leave anti-frizz product suggestions in the comments. #pleaseandthankyou

Love the outfit! I always seem to forget that my hair is actually pretty frizzy during the winter months, especially when it’s shorter. I use a touch of argon oil and that does the trick.

Thanks for the tip Heidi! I must admit that I straighten mine in the winter, less out of concern for frizz and more out of fear of freeze. I’m a morning shower girl and walking outside in the AM with wet curls is so unappealing during these cold weeks.
Loving that pearl necklace!
