In case you didn’t know (lol), Valentine’s Day is this Thursday! Red is my power color and it always makes me feel amazing, so I’m all about wearing red for Valentine’s Day, no matter what kind of love you’re celebrating. Whether you’re planning a romantic night out with your SO, popping a bottle of champs with your galentines, or staying in for a night of self-care, you need something to wear! In my opinion, the perfect Valentine’s Day dress is red or pink with fun, feminine details. I love the scalloped neckline of this one and it was fun to pair it with polka dot tights and my heart-shaped sunglasses for this shoot!
My husband and I usually celebrate Valentine’s Day with cards and a belated dinner out, which is totally fine with me. This year, I’m definitely also celebrating self-love. If you follow me on Instagram, you hopefully saw an exciting post I shared on Saturday. For six weeks, I’ve been working very hard on eating healthier and working out more, and it’s been amazing to see the difference it’s made in my body. This weekend, I tried on a dress that didn’t fit me a few months ago, and it fit! I think for a long time I was complacent when it came to taking care of myself.
