The NYC brunch scene is pretty intense. You could live here for years and still not make it to all of the hot spots around the city. But, even with so many choices, we all have our favorites. The Smith is one of mine, and I find that their Midtown location is my go-to choice when people come to visit. The french toast is amazing, and the decor is always worth an Instagram.
This is what I wore when my dad came in to take me out for a belated birthday brunch. The last time this dress was on the blog, it was cold enough to layer long sleeves underneath. This time, I opted for a denim vest and playful accessories. The message on this Kate Spade pouch is one of my favorites and I’m so tempted to buy ALL the things!
Sunnies: J.Crew Factory, Vest: Old Navy (similar), Dress: Target (similar), Belt: J.Crew (similar in silver), Loafers: DSW, Bracelet: c/o Capwell & Co, Pouch: Kate Spade
Girl, The Smith is my favorite restaurant in the city. They’re chicken pot pie is crazy good! Love your blog and seeing all the local haunts you frequent as well. If you haven’t tried The Uptown on the UES for brunch its definitely a must try!
SO good! I love Uptown too. They also have a great French Toast. Big fan of Cafe d’Alsace on the UES, if you haven’t been there.
I LOVE the vest paired with that outfit. You can always find something to put a jean jacket vest over!! Adorable outfit!!
