One of my favorite things is when I find something affordable that reminds me of a more expensive piece. I love the look of J.Crew’s quilted excursion vest, but the $100+ price tag isn’t exactly in my budget. Enter: this version, found on sale at Old Navy for $20! It’s a versatile color, warm, yet lightweight, and perfect for layering. You can probably find it in store still, but since it’s not available online anymore, I linked to a similarly priced vest below.
Another one of my favorite things is my family. All of my aunts and uncles live out of town, so any opportunity to spend time together is special. Two of my uncles are in New York for work, so I was excited to layer up in this outfit to meet them and my mom for brunch on Sunday. We went to an adorable French restaurant in Midtown, and talked for hours. Nothing like family time!
