The button-down shirt has come a long way. It’s more than just a crisp, white classic, with an endless variety of colors, materials and patterns. A great button-down can stand on it’s own, but also makes the perfect layer. Dress it up or down, under sweaters, over skirts, with jeans or leather leggings. Just remember, you don’t have to look “buttoned up” in a button-down.
