Somehow it’s already Monday again! Weekends always go too quickly, don’t you think? Mine was spent with family, including brunch with my cousins at one of our favorite neighborhood spots. I wore this sweater and jeans combo, which is pretty typical weekend style for me at this time of year. Although I wear a lot of neutrals, a pop of color is fun sometimes too, and I always love adding a touch of leopard print. The last time I wore this sweater was with a midi skirt for work, but it also works perfectly with jeans. Boyfriend jeans are admittedly not the most flattering silhouette for curvy girls, but it helps if you can find a pair that’s fitted up top, but relaxed in the legs.
On Saturday night, I had a little staycation with my Mom at The Hudson Hotel. We ended up wandering around the shops near Columbus Circle, had a fantastic dinner at Ousia, and then went back to our hotel and read our books in our PJs. Totally low-key, but so great to spend some quality time together!
