Yesterday was our first beautiful spring day in the city, and I definitely dressed for it! I’ve been coping with my seasonal sadness by stocking up on new spring pieces, and I can’t wait to wear them all. White jeans are one of my favorite spring staples, and I love this curvy skinny pair from LOFT. They fit and flatter my curves so well, and the petite length was perfect to pair with slide mules.
My husband I did a few errands in the morning, so I needed a bag that would carry everything, including my DSLR camera. I felt great in this outfit and I’ll definitely wear it again. I’ve learned that although I love horizontal stripes, vertical ones really elongate my torso. Clearly I can’t get enough of the statement sleeve, and I’m so glad that off-the-shoulder tops are still popular this season. Speaking of, one of my friends recently asked me what I wear under these. It can be tough when you have a chest, but I look for the most supportive bandeau I can find. If you have a strapless or convertible bra that you like that can work too.
